Life Is All Dynamics

In case anyone didn’t know, i’m leaving in the morning to go to BronyCon - but in addition to that, i am also leaving the place i’m at now to move; about 600 miles to the north. The timing is just right that BronyCon is on the way ;)

But yeah, i’m going to be without internet for several days until i get it hooked up again after i move. I’ll just have my phone for access, and since it’s a pain to type anything more than a tweet’s worth of words on there, i’ll probably not be posting anything until i settle in and have real ‘net.

I’ll check my messages though, and tweeting, yes, i will be doing that. (@die_einhorn)

In fact, as i said for Anthrocon a month ago - if you’re looking for me at BC, following my twitter and looking out for when i post my location is probably the only chance there is of finding me, aside from luck. I won’t have a table so i will be just another face in the crowd!

Oh wait, actually you can look for my fursuit, since i will suit a little bit. I guess that might stand out slightly.

Anyhow, see everyone on the flipside!

Blergh, so messy.  I need to make an effort to sketch cleaner.I am also thinking of making a NSFW sub-blog to post the pin-uppy stuff I do on there.  Even if it’s just bare breasts, I still feel like not everyone who follows me wants to see furry boobies on their dash.

This artist is really awesome guys, you should probably go check them out :F

Just a reminder:the natural diet of these birds is BONES. Not just bone marrow; actual bone shards. They pick up huge freaking bones from carcasses and drop them onto rocks until they get spiky pieces and then they swallow them. Their stomach acid dissolves bone.

look me in the eye and tell me that’s not a fucking dragon

And they aren’t naturally red like that. That’s self-applied makeup. They find the reddest earth they can to work into their feathers as a status symbol.

And they don’t scavenge other parts of carcases, just the bones. 85-90% of their diet is exclusively bone. Hence why it’s only a myth that these birds would just pick up whole lambs and carry them off. It’s not true, but in German they’re still called Lämmergeier as a result.

So metal

MIght be an odd question but... would you want a Gilda Episode this season? I always thought she might have a bit of a 'redemption' where she TRIES to overcome her pride in her bitchy catbird way. I am at least curious how her search for 'non lame' friends went.

I’m a little mixed about it, because yeah, i’d LOVE to see Gilda some more :D But …i’d hate for her to be cowed into being a completely different person like Discord was… that’s not really the kind of redemption that’s satisfying.

Gilda’s gooey, sweet tsundere center is only for those closest to her to taste, not for all of ponyville :P

No… (not to say that wouldn’t work, as i’ve never tried it… but i’d be scared to try it on anything i value) …I use [matte] fixative, which you can get at arts/crafts stores. It’s designed specifically for graphite and pastel and other smudgy media, and it works pretty well!

How do you ship/package your traditional art pieces?

I make sure the art is sprayed with fixative if it’s graphite (Which is a good thing to do anyway.) then i sandwich it between two pieces of corrugated cardboard - making sure that the cardboard pieces are cut in opposite directions, so the strength of the corrugation will go both ways and it’s much less likely that it will bend. I tape a few spots around the sides so nothing will shift, then put it in a shipping envelope. I’ll write “DO NOT BEND!” or somesuch in clearly visible sharpie on both sides of the envelope too.
